Red, White, & Blue Olympics Drink Recipe

Happy New Year! We are all going to rock 2014 and make it our best year yet... I just know it. (: In just 35 days, the 2014 Winter Olympics will begin in Sochi, Russia! I am a huge fan of the Olympics and I can't wait to watch the world's best athletes compete!

I'm already in the process of planning an Olympics viewing party and you can definitely not have an Olympics party without a festive drink!
These adorable festive drinks will be a hit at any Opening Ceremony party! I first made these on the Fourth of July, but they are absolutely perfect for the Olympics! The best part is, if you need to switch up the colors because your flag is not red, white, & blue, it is totally possible!

Red, White, and Blue Olympic Drink
-Cranberry Juice
-Diet 7up
-Blue Gatorade

Take a glass and fill the glass to the top with ice (you need a lot of ice for the layers to stay separated)!! Pour in the cranberry juice, then the blue Gatorade, but pour the Gatorade on the ice so the Gatorade pours slowly off the ice and doesn't mix in with the cranberry juice. Lastly, pour in the 7up.... and voilĂ  you have the perfect Olympic drink! You can add vodka if you wish ;)

There is another version, with more alcohol that is equally as cute and delicious!!

-1 part UV Blue Raspberry Vodka
-1 part Lemonade
-1 part Cranberry Juice

Fill the glass to the rim with ice, pour in the UV Blue Raspberry Vodka, then pour in the Lemonade, and then the Cranberry Juice!

You can switch up the colors of your flag are not red, white, and blue. You can also leave ingredients out, if for example, you are rooting for a country like Turkey, which has a red and white flag!

Please let me know if you plan on making these, make them, or post what team you will be rooting for in February! I'm most excited for hockey and Team USA!

I can't wait to watch the Olympics and talk about them with all of my wonderful readers!

Go USA & stay Fashionably Sporty!

Thanks for reading!
